Among the components of the S&P BSE BANKEX index, Bank of Baroda (up 3.04%), Bandhan Bank Ltd (up 1.75%),State Bank of India (up 1.5%),AU Small Finance Bank Ltd (up 1.11%),IndusInd Bank Ltd (up 1.04%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Axis Bank Ltd (up 0.89%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (up 0.69%), Federal Bank Ltd (up 0.34%), and HDFC Bank Ltd (up 0.06%).
On the other hand, ICICI Bank Ltd (down 0.32%), turned lower.
At 09:45 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 19.96 or 0.03% at 66250.2.
The Nifty 50 index was down 5.7 points or 0.03% at 19736.65.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 39.39 points or 0.11% at 37083.14.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.82 points or 0.08% at 11162.76.
On BSE,1485 shares were trading in green, 1146 were trading in red and 124 were unchanged.
