Nifty Auto index ended up 1.58% at 16425.8 today. The index has added 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Bajaj Auto Ltd jumped 5.90%, TVS Motor Company Ltd gained 2.66% and Bharat Forge Ltd added 2.36%. The Nifty Auto index has increased 23.00% over last one year compared to the 12.95% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index increased 0.94% and Nifty PSE index is down 0.74% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.44% to close at 20192.35 while the SENSEX witnessed a rise of 0.47% to close at 67838.63 today.
